Hello my name is Meirion “yes I am Welsh” and I am the manager at the Greyhound hotel Carshalton. Over the years working within the hospitality industry I have been lucky enough to meet some fantastic people and I am proud to boast that a number of my colleagues are still working alongside me today “including the wife” and George, our Head Chef, is one of those characters, who has been there for me over the years!

George serves a wonderful selection of fresh home cooked food featuring pub classics such as Traditional Fish and Chips using Young’s Bitter, Sausage and Mash with onion gravy and not forgetting his extensive selection of chef’s specials available every day. He prides himself on providing either a continental breakfasts or a hearty full English Breakfast for residence and passing customers looking to start the day off with the most important meal of the day.

The hotel has two deluxe double hotel suites and nineteen en-suite twin and double rooms. All have air conditioning and Sky on flat screen TV’s. Free WiFi access is available throughout the hotel and pub.
